Side A is recorded live in Ft. Worth, 1982. Side B is studio material produced by Bob Mould that never saw a proper release until EV dug it up. The live stuff is their best material, in my opinion. By the way, if you come across any of the records on this blog, you should snatch them up quick!

Vomit Pigs - Take One EP
The band was originally from Daingerfield in East TX but moved to Dallas and played plenty shows there. Released on Bad Wreckors out of Dallas. Learn more about this legendary band here: http://www.breakmyface.com/bands/vomitpigs.html Thanks to Ryan R.!
Sub Oslo - 12" EP
Recorded 1997. From Denton/Ft. Worth, released on Two Ohm Hop out of Denton. Much of the band lives in Austin now, and they only play sporadic shows, which are well worth attending. A live projectionist is part of the band, along with live dub. Excellent chillout music that rewards the patient listener. Ex-members of Suiciety and other stuff. This is DUB. The bass will sound distorted if your system is janky.

Found this on another blog, but this is essential DFW listening and decided it needs a post.
TEXAS FUCKING STYLE
Sinister Ghost
This was a short lived project in the summer of 2008. Played a handful of shows in DFW, and around texas, and did a short stint around the midwest. Members of Heinous Genetix and Hercules on these recordings. Ended in August of 2008 due to members moving to different states. Lo-fi spastic screamo stuff.

Wiring Prank EP
From Denton, released in the mid 90's by Automatic Records out of Denton. This was a high-point of that era's indie rock, in my opinion. Some might call it post-rock or slowcore or whatever. I call it good.

SLEEPING BODY - AWAKEN EP
Seminal hardcore recorded in '92 (the kids call it skr4mzy!). This file is the whole package including all lyrics, art, labels, and inserts. A lot of thought and passion went into this release, and I'm giving it the full treatment in honor of Chad "Cadillac Fraf" Percy, R.I.P.
*EDIT: oops, something was wrong with the audio in this rip. I'll redo it and repost later. sorry!
*EDIT #2: It should be fixed now. Let me know if there are problems.

Teenage Queers - Live at Raul's 1980 and more
Slave One - Partial Discography
I was gonna rip and upload this 7" (I like the versions of these songs better on this EP than the LP), but then I found this guy at Blue Skies Above Us blog who already did a great job of ripping and scanning 3 of their releases. There is one EP missing from his post, which I'll eventually rip and put up here. If anyone finds a good version already online, post it in the comments!
